Top Five WW2 fighter aces. A fine example of one of the rarest RAF covers which should be in your collection. In 1980, as part of the RAF Museum "C" series, otherwise known as the Co-Ordinated series, this cover was produced to commemorate the 40th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain. Issued on behalf of the Battle of Britain Museum Appeal Fund, it features a lovely miniature stamp sheet with a Hurricane and a Spitfire stamp. The cover was flown in a Hurricane LF363 of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, in a test and practice for a display over Coventry Airport.
