Bee Gees original mono rough mix tape, 1969
Bee Gees 10.25" mono rough mix tape containing eight titles sung and performed by Barry and Maurice Gibb. Both play acoustic guitars, Maurice also plays electric guitar plus piano & bass, drums by Terry Cox (of UK folk-rock group Pentangle) who was booked as a session musician. Orchestrations by Bill Shepherd. Recorded September & October 1969 at Recorded Sound Studios, Bryanston Street, London W.1. The tape features two unreleased tracks: Julia and The Only Way.
Together with Maurice Gibb rough mixes (recorded at Recorded Sound for a solo album project), featuring four songs: 01. I've Come Back - Maurice playing all instruments apart from Geoff Bridgford on drums.02. Untitled instrumental performed by Maurice Gibb with Lesley Harvey from Stone the Crows and The First Edition (Kenny Roger's backing group of the time). 03. Laughing Child - as per track 01 and 04. Railroad - as per track 01.



The lot is accompanied by with two CD's, one of the 10.25" tape, the other of the recording engineer interviewed by David Cash.
