Description

Walter Von Nessen (American, 1889–1943) for Chase Brass and Copper, USA. Pair of modern styled metal horse bookends. One in brass color, the other in a nickel colored finish. Each depicting a horse with a body composed of Chase's signature cylindrical forms and cone form horns. Each marked. Height 6".

Condition

There are minor dents to the brass horse on base as well as minor wear to the finish of both pieces.
