Anatolia, possibly Yortan, ca. 2nd - 1st millennium BCE. A very interesting piece! A terracotta rattle, with a single loop handle, globular body, and "idol-like" face. Reminiscent of the early stone stargazers. Still rattles! 4-1/2"L.
