Syria, ca. 2nd Millennium BCE. Composed of twenty-five rock crystal beads, graduated in size and chiefly biconical in form, the largest with three cut grooves at its widest point, all interspersed with sixteen biconical silver beads. 18\" long.

Provenance: Ex-S. Powers Collection, acquired at Christie\'s, December 5, 2001. Ex-Asian Collection acquired between 1968 - 1972.
