China, Liangzhu Culture, ca. 3400 - 2250 BCE.
Terracotta bowl with rattle in pedestal. Painted with black and red paint, with a primary red 'X.' filled in with black parallel lines with circles in between. On the underside of bowl is a shallow half-loop design. Approximately 7"D x 4"H.
