In black painted and marbleized wood case with half columns and cast gilt capitals with marbleized plinths, printed paper over tin dial with stamped brass surrounds, cast French metal lion mask handles at sides and winged paw feet. Coin slot at top left and return token slot at right side. This clock has an unmarked brass time & strike spring driven movement , lacking pendulum, but with key, but it does have the elaborated coin operated mechanism on interior, including brass coin drop pan. Made to receive U.S. nickels (5 cent piece) and return a penny sized token. The back has its original lock and key, worn makers label on back reading “Wizard Clock”, 10.5 x 13.5 x 6.75”.

Condition:

Fine. Mr. Vallee had most of his clocks in running order but Forsythes' does not guarantee working condition on any clocks or watches.
