Vase shaped, the circular base with gadrooned border with flowers at intervals, the stem spiral-fluted with a foliate knop, the lower body with applied acanthus, the body with swags and rosettes, and husk and laurel border, with bifurcated serpent handles, the double domed cover with applied acanthus and gadrooning, the finial formed as a female figure and child holding a shield, the shield engraved with a crest and date MDCCLXXI, marked on base and cover bezel, engraved inside the foot 'WM PICKETT FECIT 1771'
