KETSEAS Themistocles General Greece(Athens, 1887 - Athens, 1965). Studied law. From 1906 to 1933, worked in various banks in Athens. Founded the International Olympic Academy with Carl Diem. He was a member of the Greek Olympic Committee. In March 1941, he and his troops successfully repelled the Italian army, which was trying to take ground.Signed printed photograph applied to cardboard; Autograph letter signed and dated Athens, 12.04.1949 to Paul Langer: "Énous tous les greques, nous aimons, nous estimons et encore nous admirons votre patrieÉ"; Autograph letter signed dated 21.03.1950; Autograph letter signed dated 08.05.1950; Typed letter signed dated 07.01.1956.POLITIS Nikolaos Sokratis Minister Greece(Kalamata, 1872 - Athens, 1921). Professor of international law at the universities of Aix-en-Provence, Poitiers and Paris. He was Minister of Foreign Affairs. He was Greece's delegate to the League of Nations and helped set up the International Court of Justice in The Hague.Visiting card dated Geneva, 23.09.1924 to Paul Langer: "Éremercie Monsieur P. Langer bien sincrment pour sa trs aimable lettreÉ".PAPAGOS Alexandros Prime Minister Greece(Athens, 1883 - Athens, 1955). Military and statesman, he took part in the Balkan War and the invasion of Turkey. In 1927 he was promoted to general and in 1935 to minister of war. From 1952 until his death, he was Prime Minister.Signed printed photograph applied to cardboard in-16, to Paul Langer.
