Graduating from the Royal Military College in 1910, he served in the First World War in France and Belgium, graduating with the rank of lieutenant-colonel. Between the wars, he was Director of Military Operations, then Commandant of the Collge Royal Militaire. He began the Second World War as a general, planning Canadian troops in England. On 07.23.1944, he landed in Normandy and, passing through La Falaise, unblocked the ports of Le Havre, Boulogne and Calais.Signed printed photograph applied to cardboard in-16 and dated October 1947 to Paul Langer; autograph card signed; envelope.MACKENZIE KING William Lyon Prime Minister Canada(Berlin, Ontario, 1874 - Kingsmere, Quebec, 1950).
