Description
He was Austrian ambassador to Dresden, Berlin and Paris. He became Prime Minister in 1809. He negotiated Napoleon 1st's marriage to Maria Theresa. In 1815, he presided over the Congress of Vienna. In 1848, he had to flee Vienna, where he returned in 1851.Letter signed and dated to General Clarke Paris, 29.03.1808. He inform his correspondent of the fate of three Austrian soldiers taken prisoner; one at Biberach in 1796, the other two during the Austerlitz campaign in 1805: "ÉThomas Bellanowich tombe au pouvoir de l'armŽe franaise prs d'Ebersdorf le 11 novembre 1805ÉÓ.
