Description
He took part in most of the campaigns of the Revolution and Empire. He distinguished himself at Wagram in 1809, Fuentes de Onoro in 1811 and Russia in 1813. During the Hundred Days, he contributed to the victory at Ligny in 1815. Minister of War and Marshal of France, he led the siege of Antwerp in 1832.Autograph letter signed and dated 24.05.1839 to the ÒDirecteur GŽnŽral des impositions indirectesÓ.
