FRANCISCO GOYA OBSEQUIO A EL MAESTRO ORIG ETCHING Francisco de Goya, (Spanish, 1746-1828). Original etching, "Obsequio a el maestro" from Los Caprichos, a set of 80 aquatint prints created by Goya in 1797 and 1798, and published as an album in 1799. Print is from the 5th edition, printed in the Calcografia Nacional for the Real Academia between 1881 and 1886. Printed on woven paper measuring 330 x 240 mm, in cream cover. This print was sold in the 1960’s by Sears Roebuck & Co. through the Vincent Price Art Collection, #GE 2177. Framed and matted under glass in gilt frame. Numbered 47 in top right corner, title is centered below image. Size: 330 x 240 mm sheet
