This marked a departure from MB&F's usual realm of high-end watches, democratizing access to their creations for those integral to the watchmaking process. Subsequently, the M.A.D.1 Red sent shockwaves through the watch community upon its official launch in March 2022, with only 1,500 pieces. The brand faced an overwhelming response, filtering through entries to ensure fairness in distribution. Despite not being a conventional MB&F creation, the M.A.D.1 captured the essence of the brand's avant-garde design philosophy, earning accolades at the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève in 2022. Now, the M.A.D.1 returns for a third installment, boasting a captivating green colorway and retaining its signature features, including the mesmerizing spinning top rotor blade and luminous SuperLuminova. Powered by a heavily modified Miyota 8315 movement, this timepiece continues to defy norms with its side-reading time display, inviting wearers to turn their wrists and follow the arrow pointing to the hours and minutes.
