We can find no information about this artist but we feel the name is N. Veneroni. Very unusual subject. Appears to be a mother holding a child wrapped in a gauze type material in her left arm and there is a nude, almost cherubic, figure standing at her right. There is also a fully carved owl sitting at the ground near the back leg of the chair or stool that she is sitting in. Measures almost 25" tall, is in excellent condition and is extremely heavy.
