Description
New Kingdom, Ramesside Period, ca 1292 to 1069 BC. Carved in two registers, the upper depicting three figures, a priest with a shaved head, wearing a long pleated kilt, with his benefactor standing behind, both making offerings to the God Ptah. Hieroglyphic inscription reads: "Ptah, lord of the two lands", then it lists the name of the main person praising Ptah. Then it says "his son, ...", but the son's name lost. The lower scene depicting a woman kneeling before a table with a crocodile Sobek (?), her arms raised in adoration. 6"H (16.5cm)
