1914 TWIN CYLINDER MODEL STEAM ENGINE: This unique steam engine appears to be modeled after the engine that ran the tramway and stamp mill in the silver boom town, now ghost town, of Rochester, Nevada. Double wheel and double fly valve, has one gear drive most likely to power the tram and one belt drive most likely to power the stamp mill. Cast iron base has plaque that reads ''Built by A. Amann, 1914, Rochester, N.V.''. Wheels turn and pistons move. Overall measures 14'' h. x 20 1/2'' x 18''.
Condition
