DESCRIPTION: "Die Rakete" [The Rocket] is a beautiful original vintage 60s school plate space travel poster, created in 1963, 60 years after the Wright Brothers flew the first airplane and only five years before the landing on the moon. The very detailed, scientifically accurate illustration of "The Rocket" shows the exterior and cutaways of its interior parts and sections, with components numbered and indexed (in German) at the bottom of the illustration. Some components include rocket principle, set impulse, the mass ratio, control, residues, and liquid rocket.
