A Sino-Tibetan Gilt Bronze Tara seated on double lotus throne with left hand in vitarka mudra and right hand in varada mudra. Each hand holding a lotus stalk with blossoming lotus. The right leg pendent and resting on a lotus front rest. Period: Likely to be late Ming Dynasty (AD 1368-1644) or early Qing Dynasty. Height: 28cm. Base plate is intact. 可能明晚或清早期 銅鎏金度母像
Condition
Face and hair repainted. Nice gilding. The statue is very heavy, presumably filled with many religious treasures for empowerment purposes
