Antique c1910 on point one patch in indigos and shirting measuring 68" x 71", squares are about 3" x 3". There is a 3-4" gingham border. It is hand pieced. In good condition with some small spots and pink bleeding. There is an opening on one corner to view the quilt underneath. The top has been applied to a c1880 string comfort quilt with a sateen backing and red embroidery floss ties. Variety of fabrics included wools and silks. It is in poor condition which is why it was recycled in such a manner. Still makes an interesting study piece. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
