Maharishi. This is Maharishi’s first written statement of his plan for the world, in his own handwriting. The manuscript says of the World Plan: “How soon is it possible? Aim at the whole population in 3 years” The plan is: “First year - 1972. Provide a teacher for 100,000 population. Second year - a teacher for 10,000. Third year - a teacher for 1,000” Then a line is drawn from the second year estimate with the words “Try to achieve this in the first year”. At the bottom of the page: “Plan 350 training centres each to train 1,000 teachers, each teacher for 10,000 population”.The historic manuscript, in bright purple and green felt-tip ink on thick, large-format drawing paper (460cm x 340cm)
