Mountain Hiking Staff Weapon of Royal Provenance-Ca. 1890-Fashioned of two silver ash branches with brass fittings and 4 1/2 in. tall and sharp steel spike which also makes of it a redoubtable weapon. Easy to pack and to transport, the two well-dressed parts can be fitted together in a straight line to become a 70 in. tall useful staff. Still retains the contemporary castle assets band-labels numbered 6. & 6. The Royal provenance outguns rarity and adds luster for the desirability. This cane originates from the heirloom dispersal sale WORKS OF ART FROM THE ROYAL HOUSE OF HANOVER organized by Sothebys in the castle of Marienburg in 2005. The cane still bears the inventory castle assets metal label numbered 1028.-O.L. 2x37 -
