A Very Rare Gold Sino-Tibetan Buddha with hands in bhumisparsa mudra seated on Double-Lotus Throne with beaded edges and with Tibetan inscriptions at the back of the lotus throne. The base cover is made of skin and it is unopened and complete with empowerment deposits. Extremely difficult to find Sino-Tibetan Buddha statue made of gold and come with inscriptions. Apart from its gold value, the main attractions of this statue is the very simple and elegant way in which it was cast and with the face of the Buddha exuding an everlasting sweet and calming smile. The bhumisparsa mudra represents the victory of the Buddha over evil. Period: Qing Dynasty (AD 1644-1912). Height: 11.8cm. Weight: 424.5g.
