circa 1923, the amazing window display designed for a French butcher was manufactured by the noted automaton maker Decamps, it depicts six pigs sitting at a table being served by a cook, the pigs sit on well crafted barrels, painted composition heads, hands and hoofs, set on a plinth base enclosing electrical mechanism, multiple movements, cook is 27" t., its is said to have more than 20 movements but it is hard to count them - a real eye catching sale stimulator in exceptional original condition, the piece is full formed with realistic front and back
