Description
Artist Laurie Fox Pessemier was born in Winsted, Connecticut. She has painted since she was seven, illustrating a story she wrote. Laurie studied art at NCCC and the University of Hartford (Hartford Art School) in Connecticut. Laurie has a degree in art and art history. During her college years, she worked atĆ the KendallĆ Art Gallery on Cape Cod, learning from more established artists there. In 1993, with her husband Blair, she led a group of plein air painters in France, relating the history of French Impressionism in fact and practice. Laurie won the Mayor prize for her painting plein air on the Champs-Elysees, in Paris, France, in 2000. Her work is in collections around the world, including the local museum in Port-en-Bessin, France. The dimensions are 19.5ā x 22.5ā. Suggested retail $1200.00. Donated by T.
