Welcome to our highly recommended section, the rare and old collection from Mr. Wu, the descendants of Wu Hongming's family, with a long history of origin, each of artworks in the section can be seen as precious and delicate as your expectation . Our specialist carefully handpicked and curated, looking forward all of collectors and friends coming and joining the auction.Wu Hongming (1843-1925), the owner of Runxi Hall, was a wealthy gentleman in Quanzhou, born in a local gentry family in Zhangzhou. Since childhood, he followed his grandfather, learning and copying old collection of paintings and calligraphy of his family. Wu Hongming made friends with local literati, then went to Quanzhou and started the export porcelain business, meanwhile running the main business of antiques collected by his family. He was doing business with collectors from various countries, while devoting himself to the study antique books and treasures. He passed away in Quanzhou in the year of 1925. 

Wu Hongming's descendants inherited the family's old collection and settled in Taiwan in the 1940s. The owner of Yue-Nian-Tang has been a personal friend of Wu's for three generations. The accompanying image was taken when Wu Hongming returned to his ancestral home with his family brothers in 1902.
