Egypt, Late Dynastic Period, ca. 300 BC. Hollow-molded clay reclining statue depicting the god Hathor – goddess who personified the principles of love, beauty, music, motherhood and joy. She is depicted with large horns from which the sun disc is supported. 5"L nose to rear x 4-1/2"H x 2-1/2"W.
