Inside the rear collar of the home knit jersey is the “Spanjian” manufacturer’s tag with jersey size “42”. Across the front is “PHOENIX”. Player number “5” appears on both the front and back. All these numbers and letters are done in orange on purple tackle twill. Player name “VAN ARSDALE” appears across the back in purple tackle twill. On the rear inner waistband of the matching shorts is the “Spanjian” tag with player number “5” written in black ink. Attached is the size “L” flag tag. On each outer thigh is “suns” done in purple tackle twill with a white embroidered border. The uniform is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows excellent use. Inside the rear collar of the home warm-up jacket is the “Spanjian” manufacturer’s tag with size “42”. Attached is a flag tag with “XL”. Across the back is “VAN ARSDALE” done in white on purple tackle twill. Below is a large “Sun Basketball” logo done in orange and white tackle twill. The jacket shows signs of heavy sweat staining. It is properly tagged, was presented to us as worn and in our opinion, shows wear. Also included is a 1996-97 Jason Kidd Suns team issued #5 black road jersey. Kidd was traded to the Suns for the 1996-97 season and was issued the number “5” jersey he had worn as a rookie with Dallas. Kidd wanted to wear the same uniform number but the number “5” had been retired in honor of Van Arsdale. The Suns equipment manager prepared this jersey for Kidd to wear, anticipating that Van Arsdale would allow him. The agreement was never reached and therefore, this one of a kind jersey was never worn. On the left front tail is the “Champion” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and size “48”. Adjacent is the “96-97 Designed & Tailored Exclusively for Phoenix Suns Body Length +3” tag. Across the front is “SUNS”. Player number “5” appears on both the front and back. Player name “KIDD” appears across the back. All numbers and letters are done in white on orange tackle twill. Kidd has signed the back number in black marker adding the inscription “5” rating a 6. On the right chest is the official NBA logo embroidered in gold which was sewn over the usual red, white and blue logo. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as team issued and in our opinion, shows no use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA for the signature as well as an additional LOA.
