A BRASS MONK'S CAP EWER, Tibet, 19th Century or earlier. With bands of brass strengthening the cylindrical copper body. The name "Monk's cap ewer" is derived from the shape of a Tibetan monk's cap, which the ewer has a resemblance. This form of ewer is used to serve tea or wine. 25cm x 22.5cm.
