Dvarim [Things] by Yona Wallach. Jerusalem: Achshav, 1966.First edition of Israeli poet Yona Wallach's first book of poems. Wallach (1944-1985) is considered a revolutionary Israeli feminist and post-modernist poet whose work was influenced by her drug use and attraction to Jewish mysticism. This copy signed by Wallach and dedicated, "To Pnina, not compensation but comfort, Yona," dated July 8, 1966. “Pnina” is Pnina Caspi, a close friend of Wallach from the 60s. The dedication is quoted in Wallach’s 2009 biography by Yigal Sarna. Hebrew, 24x16 cm.
