From the ancient Near East, Iran, Ca late 2nd to 1st millennium BC. Pottery pouring vessel in the form of a ram or mouflon, small spout upon back, loop handle and spout in the form of the head of the beast. Vessel sits upon 4 short legs. 4-5/8"L x 2-1/4"W x 4"H.

Provenance: Ex-H. Sarner Collection, Palm Spring, CA.
