Description
I kuda zhe ty, priyatel' ... [Where Are You Going, Friend?], a Polish-War-period poster by an unidentified artist (signed K.K. in the plate). Published by Arkhangelsk Gubpros, Arkhangelsk, 1920, 40.5 x 29.5 cm.
An interesting regional poster. The rather incomprehensible rhymed caption seems to suggest that Entente Powers are pushing the badly beaten Pilsudsky to continue fighting. The poster was clearly produced before the “Miracle at the Vistula.”
Search extension words: Russian poster, Soviet poster.
