Issued without portraits. Contemporary full tree calf, spines ruled in gilt, with burgundy gilt morocco lettering labels. Some rubbing to joints and edges, bookseller's plates on both front pastedowns, near contemporary neat ink price on front pastedown of Volume I, previous owner's ink signature (mostly erased) on front free endpapers. Some soiling, foxing to text, upper corner of page 183/184 in Volume II lacking (not affecting text), hinges just starting, yet solid. Overall, a fine copy.
