Centrally hand-painted with a scene from an opera by Wagner, Sigfried's Tod (Death), within a floral border, the plate's rim gilded, bejeweled and decorated with alternating oval and cartouche panels with floral design on olive green ground, signature at the bottom slightly left, the base of the plate has a glazed mark, and impressed with manufacturer's mark and numbers "24", and "07164".
