Description
1972 Plymouth Valiant Scamp 2 door hardtop with vinyl roof. 318 CID engine 8 cylinder. Automatic transmission torqueflite transmission, power steering and air conditioning. Automatic with shift on the column. Many extras listed on the original manufacturer’s suggested retail price label, like tinted windows, undercoating, etc. The sticker will go with the car. The blue vinyl seats and door trim are in great shape. The Scamp has always been garaged. In fact my Uncle didn't put windows in the garage he built because sunlight fades the paint. Upon arriving home from work or a drive he would disconnect the battery and open the doors and trunk to keep the seals in good shape. I think it worked! I believe the spare tire is original and I know the jack is.
When I purchased the car (2nd owner) I named it Buddy, in honor of my Uncle Bud. Buddy is a dream to drive and handles beautifully. Shows a lot of spunk when needed, ie. freeway. There is some cracking in the paint at the front of the hood and I've been told it had been repainted the original bright blue color. The starter is acting up a bit, but other than that it is a great car and I hope it finds a good home.
