Brown taffeta having wide satin band with woven check around edge of cape, braided cord trim, front closes with three pair dorset buttons and woven cord frogs. L-42. Illustrated in Godey's Lady's Book, 1868, p. 218, fig. 14, "Infant's Cloak". (One button replaced, silk lining torn) good.
