Wright completes 2016 with an extraordinary selection of 20th century design in our December 8th Design auction. The sale traverses the globe and includes notable works by Hans Wegner, Oscar Niemeyer, Gio Ponti, Maarten Baas and Hiroshi Sugimoto among many others. Works from the Estate of Marion ?Kippy? Boulton Stroud, founder of Fabric Workshop and Museum in Philadelphia, standout within the auction. Her impressive collection includes glass works by Dale Chihuly, ceramic pieces by Richard DeVore, Jun Kaneko, and Hella Jongerius, as well as a wonderful collection of designs, many of which are custom, by Robert Venturi. Several important works by Eva Zeisel from the artist's personal collection will be offered. Finally, this sale also includes a superb selection of furniture forms by George Nakashima and ceramics by Ka-Kwang Hui from the Estate of Ardelle and Arthur Smilowitz.
