The Dreier Collection

We are thrilled and honored to offer the incredible entertainment and pop culture artifacts from the esteemed Dreier Collection. Chad Dreier served as CEO and Board Chairman of the Fortune 500 company Ryland Homes. Between 1993 and 2009, Dreier took the home building industry by storm, nearly doubling its annual production and increasing total revenues from approximately $1 billion to $4 billion. In his private life Chad, along with his son Doug, began assembling one of the greatest entertainment and pop culture collections we have ever seen. The scope and breadth of the collection is astonishing, having assembled instantly recognizable costumes, props and memorabilia from the greatest stars and characters of film, television and music. Among the treasures within these pages you will find Christopher Reeve and Marlon Brando's costumes from Superman: The Movie, Johnny Depp's costume and bladed-gloves from Edward Scissorhands, Kevin Costner's cavalry costume from Dances With Wolves, Tom Hanks' military uniform from Forrest Gump and the world's greatest assemblage of wardrobe and props from the 1971 classic Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. From one of the longest running children's shows in history is Bob Keeshan's signature costume from Captain Kangaroo. Numerous heroes and villains are represented, including pieces from Batman, X-Men, Indiana Jones and the Lara Croft: Tomb Raider films. Artwork, costumes and weapons from the faraway galaxies of Star Wars and Star Trek represent the science fiction genre. From music you will find signature items from Michael Jackson as well as Britney Spears and Madonna. In addition to entertainment, the Dreier Collection features historical perspectives on pop culture artifacts such as vintage PEZ Candy dispensers, vintage G.I. Joe action figures, classic Hot Wheels, children's cereal boxes and the world's largest collection of Cracker Jack prizes dating back to the late 19th century!
