An extraordinary array of Modern furniture, fine art, and decorative arts offered over three sessions. Session I will feature spectacular examples of work by George Nakashima, Gio Ponti, Vladimir Kagan, Philip & Kelvin Laverne, Paul Evans, Isamu Noguchi, Wharton Esherick, Sam Maloof, Wendell Castle, Albert Paley, Gary Knox Bennett, Edward Wormley, Tommi Parzinger, Hans Wegner, Finn Juhl, Charlotte Perriand, Jean Prouve, and Jean-Michel Frank. Exceptional ceramics by Natzler, Picasso, Gambone, Scheier, Peter Voulkos, Beatrice Wood, Bernard Leach, Toshiko Takaezu, and Henry Varnum Poor, complement these offerings. Lighting by Fontana Arte, Rispal, Verner Panton, and Arredoluce, as well as metalwork by Hagenauer, Jean Puiforcat, Georg Jensen, Oscar Bach, and Claire Falkenstein, are just a few of the decorative arts highlights, along with Murano and studio glass pieces by Venini and Dale Chihuly, and jewelry by Art Smith, Elsa Freund, Ed Wiener, and Harry Bertoia. Session II, under the direction of Andrew Bertolino, will feature a broad range of Modern fine art and sculpure including important works by Kurt Schwitters, Willem de Kooning, Fernand Leger, Pablo Picasso, Harry Bertoia, Milton Avery, and ceramics by British artist Andrew Lord. The focus of Session III will be on presenting a full-range of Modern furniture and decorative arts, at affordable prices.
