Bidding Process; Registered users may place bids on any item up for auction on the Website. By bidding, the bidder is entering into a legally binding contract, so Raymond Central California Auction House encourages all bidders to examine the objects. All bids are considered final so bidders are encouraged not to bid unless certain of their ability and desire to pay for an item at said bid price. Raymond Central California Auction House Reserves the Right to Require Deposits to Secure Bids. Deposits will be applied to winning bids. If there are no winning bids a full refund of all deposits will be processed with two days of the close of auction. Occasionally, items will be sold with reserves, with or without advance notice. Raymond Central California Auction House reserves the right to bid on its own behalf or for the benefit of any consignor up to the reserve amount of any item. Bids must be for the entire lot and each lot constitutes a separate sale. No lots will be broken up unless otherwise permitted by the auctioneer. Disputes: If a bidder establishes that the item description of purchased property is grossly and materially inaccurate, said bidder must give written notice of discrepancy to Raymond Central California Auction Company by email or certified mail within 15 calendar days of purchase. If bidder proves such assertions to the satisfaction of Raymond Central California Auction House, the sale of said lot will be withdrawn; Bidder will receive a Return Authorization Number, as well as return instructions. Upon the receipt of the merchandise, in the same condition it was at the time of the sale, Raymond Central California Auction House will refund to the bidder the full purchase price, which includes the hammer price, any applicable buyer's premium, and any taxes paid. No other cost that the bidder sustained will be refunded to the bidder, including cost of transportation or insurance. Settlement: The successful bidder is obligated to pay in full for the item bid upon. Fees include the winning bid amount as well as the flat shipping and handling fee, which is indicated in the item description. NOTE; Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii may incur higher shipment fees. The BUYER hereby agrees that Raymond Central California Auction House is entitled to recover one to three times the written check amount, attorney?s fees and costs of collection from the BUYER in the event that the BUYER fails or refuses to pay in full for items for which the purchaser was the high bidder.
