The Saturday auction presents an eclectic blend of fine jewelry, decorative arts and antique furnishings hailing from the local estates of Eunice Bundy, Bloomfield Hills; Robert and Elizabeth Mandy, Bingham Farms; Audrey Stanko, Sterling Heights; and various private collectors. The sale opens with several lots of exquisite emerald and diamond jewelry followed by a unique 18kt yellow gold belt and an art deco ruby and diamond bracelet; sterling silver by Tiffany & Co., Kirk & Son, Gorham and International, and a smattering of George III era pieces by William Bateman and others; circa 1900 French faience trays and an Italian majolica charger; a collection of Chinese ivory carvings and Japanese netsuke, over 40 lots. Antique furniture highlights include an American Hepplewhite mahogany banquet table, a walnut corner cabinet, an 18th century oak Welsh dresser, and a Japanese teakwood and ivory desk with Mt. Fuji carving; as well as a variety of oriental rugs from semi antique to modern.
