The first part of the sale includes American and European sporting firearms, hand guns, and antique militaria, as well as photographs, uniforms and equipment from the Mexican War through WWII. Indian and Western Art includes beadwork, textiles and weavings, pottery and baskets, as well as silver and turquoise Navajo and Southwestern jewelry. On August 28, the American History items include early photography such as daguerreotypes, ambrotypes, tintypes, cdvs, cabinet cards, stereoviews, and more. There are many selected political ephemera including Lincolniana, political pamphlets, engravings, Currier & Ives lithographs, manuscripts and archives.
