Montblanc pen collectors will be keen to know about lot 927, a limited edition Einstein fountain pen which heads a good selection of other Montblancs, and collection of Dupont lighters then follows an 18ct gold cigarette case and two 14ct vestas.
The collectables section also features single-owner collections of mechanical music, and of high-quality parasols and umbrellas to include many by Fox,. Co, variously with ceramic, ivory and silver handles. On a different them altogether, lot 1186 is a fascinating provenanced collection of pressed seaweed samples believed to have been collected by notable Victorian John Ruskin.
