Torino, che proprio quest'anno fa da capofila ai festeggiamenti dei primi 150 anni dell'Unità d'Italia, è abituata a far parte della storia, quella con la S maiuscola ed è sempre stata una città innovatrice e piena di iniziativa. Questa volta i personaggi sono tre e la storia da raccontare è la nascita di una nuova casa d'aste tutta torinese, quella della San Carlo Aste. Era il mese di giugno di quest'anno e i tre si incontrarono quasi per caso ad una fiera di antiquariato, passione che hanno in comune da sempre; si conoscevano già da tempo, ma non avevano mai pensato che avrebbero potuto dar vita ad un'iniziativa così importante ed in così poco tempo ovvero una nuova Casa d'aste di respiro internazionale. Portandosi dietro le loro precedenti storie di successo e animati da quella sana voglia di fare tipica di queste parti, hanno dato vita in brevissimo tempo al nuovo progetto; risultato? Pasquale Chianello, Patrik Launo e Giovanni Marocco Carena, questi i nomi dei tre fondatori, rispettivamente Presidente e AD, Direttore artistico e Direttore vendite della neonata Casa d'Aste San Carlo, propongono ai collezionisti ed ai mercanti d'arte, nel cuore della capitale subalpina, a pochi metri da Piazza San Carlo, salotto della città nello storico palazzo che già fu sede della Banca Grasso, un nuovo modo di scambiarsi le loro opere. Il reperimento delle opere è in corso e le condizioni proposte ai fornitori di opere importanti sono molto interessanti, a partire da anticipi fino al 100% delle basi d'asta con il programma San Carlo Top, per arrivare al pagamento ad asta avvenuta entro una manciata di giorni senza dover attentere i consueti 30 o più giorni.
