Item Details

Description

36.5" x 8" diameter. Large Chinese archaic-style lamps, circa 1950. Gu form bodies with wide flared trumpet rims and large side handles. Has a center belt of well cast Taotie-style masks (ogre mask) on a thunderbolt design background. Lacquer-on-woodbases with some minor loss of lacquer. Handles are added. Some age marks and two small surface blemishes. Wiring has been updated from original.
