All items are described to the best of our knowledge, any condition issues or defects noted in the condition report. All items are sold as is/ as found. We welcome potential bidders to attend our scheduled preview to assess items in person. No returns accepted, unless the item is misrepresented. By placing a bid, it becomes a binding contract, and bids cannot be retracted. PICK UP Items are all located at our warehouse on 85 D State Street, North Haven, CT, and must be picked up from this location. This includes 3rd party shipping services, if required. We do not deliver items. For large/heavy items, please being required help to load. We do not load/handle items personally. Items must be picked up from our location within 21 days of auction close. Thereafter, the item[s] will incur a $5 storage fee per day, which would require payment prior to item release. If paying by bank issued or cashiers check, payment must clear prior to the item[s] being released. Items not picked up after 45 days will be relinquished, returned to the consignor with no refund. SHIPPING We do not pack and ship in house [no exceptions]. If shipping is required, the buyer must make arrangements with a 3rd party shipping service. HERITAGE LEGACY AUCTIONS will be flexible while working with the shipping companies, doing our best to accommodate schedules. No item[s[ will be released until payment is clear. No returns accepted. HERITAGE LEGACY AUCTIONS is not responsible for any damaged incurred once the item is in the shipping service's hands. Once it leaves our warehouse, it is between yourself [the buyer] and shipping service to make arrangements, including insuring the items against potential damage en route. The shipping service is responsible for bringing proper help when loading large/heavy items. We do not have staff on hand to load items. If shipping is required, we can make recommendations, including shippers that crate fine art and handle delivery out of state lines. The final decision is up to the buyer. WE only make suggestions. AUCTION CATALOG All items came from large, vetted collections, but are being sold as is/as found. We do our best to properly describe items, including any condition issues of note. Most items being offered are vintage/antique and may have condition issues not noted. It is up to the bidder to make the final determination prior to placing a bid. Please refer to the photos to help in your determination. Once purchased, no returns accepted, unless the item is grossly misrepresented. Please note- all jewelry/precious metals being offered have been accurately weighed and tested for purity. You will receive the item[s] purchased in the photos. RETURN POLICY No returns accepted unless the item is grossly misrepresented. No returns accepted on items damaged or lost by the 3rd party shipper. It is up to the buyer to make proper shipping arrangements, including getting items fully insured against potential damage while en route. BUYER'S PREMIUMS A 25% buyers premium is added to the total invoice, an auction standard. No additional fees added for NON in-house bidders. We charge the same flat rate across all buying platforms, be they in-house or online.

If you have not contacted Heritage Legacy Auction to arrange payment within 3 days of the time that invoice is sent, we will charge the credit card you used to register for the auction for the amount of your invoice.
